So i turned 18 today, and i had quite a good day and just in case any of you guys are interested.

last night we went out to dinner at the coolest little cafe thing called the 3 monkeys. In Brisbane it is pretty much legendary, and has been around for about 15-20 years. Well put it this way, there was an Asian restaurant across the road, it was almost completely empty, but this cramped little cafe was packed! We even had live music with a couple of guys playing sitars and other Mediterranean instruments. Its even got chessboards and backgammon there! Anyone who ever goes to Brisbane i highly recommend going there, it may not be the best food but the atmosphere is almost surreal.

Then today, which is actually my bday, my dad who traveled up to have my 18th with me, got my up at 6:30 and said we were going out to breakfast. We were driving for three quarters of an hour, and i didn't even realize where we were going.... Till i saw us turning into the international airport. You see my bro has been in Canada for the last 6 months, and i had no idea when he was coming home, so meeting him at the airport on my b day was freaking awesome, he has changed so much since i last saw him too. Probably the best suprise i have had in a long time.

Then we went to the ice skating rink, just as he wanted to show off with his Canadian skillz >_<. That was a lot of fun.

Then finally we just went to the local pub, had a few games of pool and drinks, as well as a really nice dinner.

Now I've got an assessment that I've got due tomorrow that i have to finish! Woot for being half drunk. But hell at least i can still spell so thats a start.
