what else have you done lately man?!
i like the movement so far but somehow the black part isnt connecting with the white part at all...composition wise...its like two solid masses...a bit ying yang shaped...moving him a bit more right to have some of the whie bg on the left occuring and make some more holes of the cape...xD just ideas man, hope you dont mind me dropping them here...
To be honest i like how the really strong values came out in this. So i think ill leave it compositionally, But i will be working on it some more and fixing up a lot of it.
I'm not completely sure that i would want to render this out in the way i usually do though, i think its kinda cool as something different.
As far as what have i done recently, I've mostly been working traditionally in my sketchbook, with pencil studies, and i recently bought a whole bunch of paints and I'm trying out some traditional stuff.
